Where is the Gold Beach museum?
The main museum linked to the Gold Beach landings is the Musée du Débarquement, also known as the D-Day Museum. It sits right along the waterfront in Arromanches-les-Bains.
A bit farther inland, in Ver-sur-Mer, there is the America Gold Beach Museum. This place stands out because it pays tribute to two things. First, the British troops who landed there in 1944. Second, a 1927 transatlantic airmail flight that ended in a crash in the same coastal village.
