What statues are on Pont Neuf?

The biggest statue on the Pont Neuf is the tall bronze horse monument of King Henry IV. It sits right in the middle of the bridge near the Place du Pont-Neuf.

Along the stone sides, you can also see 381 different mascarons. They are carved stone faces. Some look like myth figures, some like satyrs, and some resemble ordinary people. Every mascaron face is unique. Not one matches another. It is a clear sign of careful 16th-century work.
