How long to visit Centre Pompidou?
Plan on spending about two to three hours at the Centre Pompidou. With that time, you can look through the permanent modern art rooms, take the outdoor escalators up and down, and spend a bit of time with the temporary shows.
Inside the building is the National Museum of Modern Art. It covers a lot of space across several floors. You will see major names like Picasso, Kandinsky, and Matisse. If you are really into contemporary art and you also want to read the curatorial notes for the changing displays, go for around four hours. If your goal is mainly the wide rooftop views and taking architectural photos, then one hour is enough.
