How long to spend at Utah Beach?
Set aside two to three hours to explore Utah Beach and the nearby area. That window gives you time to walk along the shore, stop at the monuments, and go through the landing museum on-site at a steady pace.
If you rush, it is easy to miss how the D-Day landings fit into the land and water around you. Try a full morning or a full afternoon so you can take your time with the exhibits at the Musée du Débarquement Utah Beach, where you can see an original B-26 bomber.
Want to look beyond the beach itself, too? Plan closer to half a day if you also want to include Sainte-Mère-Église and the nearby paratrooper drop zones.
