Can you walk on Juno Beach?

Visitors may walk along the sand at Juno Beach without charge. The shoreline is open to the public all year, and it works as both a place of remembrance and a regular beach.

As you move along the coast, you can spot old German bunkers and defensive sea walls from the 1944 D-Day landings. Bring the beach walk together with a stop at the nearby Juno Beach Centre, where you can learn key background on Canada’s role in the fighting.
