Are pets allowed in Monet’s Garden?

No pets are allowed at Claude Monet’s home and gardens in Giverny. Visitors must use certified, registered assistance or guide dogs only.

The Fondation Claude Monet follows this policy to help keep the garden plants safe. It also helps manage the busy flow of people on the tight paths near the water lily pond. If you are coming to Giverny from Normandy with an animal, plan care ahead of time. There are no on-site kennels. There is also no shaded place to keep animals while you visit.
