How long to spend in Honfleur?

A good window is about half a day to one full day in Honfleur. The city feels right because of how it moves and sounds, not because you race through huge museums or famous monuments. It works well when you want a calm break.

In roughly four to six hours, you can stroll around the edge of the Vieux Bassin, step inside Sainte-Catherine’s Church, have lunch with seafood at a port-side brasserie, and look around the small art spaces nearby. Some people plan to stay overnight so they can enjoy the still evening mood. Still, you can reach it easily for a day visit from Rouen, Caen, or Bayeux.
