Can you walk on Pont Neuf?

You can cross Pont Neuf whenever you want, day or night. The bridge has broad stone pavements on both sides. Cars stay in the middle, away from people walking.

There are also semi-circular stone parts that jut out along the sides. Long ago, they helped riders get out of the path of muddy carriage spray. Now those ledges make good spots to watch the Seine, frame views of the Eiffel Tower, and see boats moving on the river, all without blocking pedestrians.
