How to get from Copacabana to Puno, Peru?
The most efficient way to travel from Copacabana to Puno is really by booking a direct tourist bus. This trip takes around three to four hours, sometimes a little more. The buses run every day; they guide passengers through the Kasani border crossing and then stop at the main bus station in Puno.
Several well-known bus companies work on the route, for example, Tour Peru and Titicaca Bolivia. Their departures are usually set for early morning or early afternoon, so you can pick what fits your plans. The drive follows the scenic western side of Lake Titicaca, so you get great views during the trip. If you want a more adventurous plan, you can instead book a multi-day catamaran cruise, connecting the two places directly across the lake.
