Where is the best viewpoint of La Paz (Killi Killi)?

Mirador Killi Killi is probably one of the best unobstructed 360-degree panoramic spots for La Paz, sitting on a steep hilltop in the Villa Pabón area. From there, you get this wide, almost dizzying view that shows the city’s dramatic, bowl-like layout, with Mount Illimani sitting in the background.

Since it’s positioned right above the historic centre, the scene feels far less similar to what you see from the cable car stations. And because the altitude is punishing, plus the incline is steep, a quick taxi ride up is very much recommended rather than walking. The viewpoint looks especially magnificent near dusk, when the streets start to glow, and the canyon walls slowly come into view.
