A lot of the places are geared towards the daytime museum crowds. So lunch is usually when they do the most business. Restaurant Baudy is the one with the strongest history. It started as a boarding house for American Impressionist painters who came to see Monet. It still offers classic local dishes. If you want something lighter, try Les Nymphéas. It is right across from the Monet Foundation. There is a broad garden patio, good for a quick sandwich or a pastry before or after your next stop.
